Back from vacation...
From July 3 - 16 I was on vacation in the British Virgin Islands (BVI for short). For ten days I was the captain of Incommunicado, a 38' sailing catamaran with Barecat Charters in the BVI.

For two weeks I didn't even think of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). It was great. For our group devotions we used some DVDs by Rob Bell of Mars Hill, Michigan--they were very thought provoking. I read Nehemiah several times for my personal devotions. We had great music: I play the guitar for our two worship teams, Ken plays the drums for one worship team and Glenn sings with one of the worship teams. As the sun set on our last night on the boat we sang Blessed be Your Name, Breathe, Famous One, God of Wonders, Here I am to Worship, Indescribable, It is You, Let My Words be Few, My Redeemer Lives, Open the Eyes of My Heart, We Lift You Up, Wonderful Maker and You are God Alone.
Thanks for hanging in there while I was on vacation. I will begin posting regularly in the next day or two.
